The shocking incident occurred in Michigan city, Indiana where a six-year-old US boy who spent beyond three hours buried under 3.3 metres of sand subsequent of being swallowed by a massive sand dune was recovering well yet remained in critical condition. Michigan City Police Chief Mark Swistek said the boy's parents told him on Saturday that the mental attitude for the child is very good. Further, Mr Swistek told The News-Dispatch they are very optimistic as well as promising success. Nathan Woessner, a hospital spokeswoman was known to have recognized the boy.
