Prominently thousands spread widely at anti-paedophile protest in Morocco
Moroccan police spread widely a crowd of several thousand people expressing objection against a royal pardon handed to a Spanish man declared to be impressed with a sense of guilt of raping 11 children. Moreover, dozens of people including photographers as well as reporters were experienced injury in collision on Friday along with authorities, who stepped in to obstruct the protest in front of the parliament building in the capital Rabat.
According to media reports, King Mohammed VI pardoned a 60-year-old Spanish man imprisoned in 2011 for raping 11 children aged between four and 15. Justice Minister Mustapha Ramid while speaking to AFP on Thursday, firmly established the royal pardon, yet declined to comment further on the details of the case, expressing that this individual will be surrendered for trial and he will be prohibited from entering Morocco.
