Former Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan is considering to take legal action against BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for corruption remarks on her. Jayanthi said, "without proof all the allegations made by Mr. Modi are completely baseless. If he has any evidence then let him prove."
Meanwhile, the Congress leaders had a dig at Modi and said this shows Modi's respect for women. "Modi's comment on Jayanthi Natarajan is in very bad taste. He only knows to abuse but doesn’t give his vision," tweeted Digvijay Singh in his micro blogging account.
Later, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman cited the number of projects cleared by Veerappa Moily as proof of Natarajan's "stalling" projects. BJP also questioned, why did Jayanthi did not give approval for project that were lying pending.
