The Union Minister Shashi Tharoor recorded his statement before The Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Alok Sharma on Sunday in which he narrated the events before the mysterious death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar in a South Delhi Five Star Hotel Suit on Friday two days after her revelation of the affair of her husband with a Pakistani Journalist Mehr Tarar.

Tharoor avoided media after recorded his statement with SDM.  

But he wrote to the Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde that he would extend full cooperation in the investigation of the death his wife so that the truth will emerge quickly and close all the speculations in the media about the whole incident.  

The doctors after conducting the postmortem on Sunanda stated that the death was sudden and unnatural.  Although she was ailing from health disorders, the death was not out of them as the post mortem report says.  

As the Journalist is a Pakistan national and Tharoor holding a ministry, speculations have been going wild about their relationship and the involvement of ISI.  As such the Minister wants that the investigation should be fast to come to a conclusion and assured of his cooperation to achieve it so that the speculations going viral can be stopped.
