Satyapal has been in touch with BJP president Rajnath Singh and former president Nithin Gadkari. Reports say that Satyapal is expecting to contest from Mumbai city itself but BJP is considering him to field from Uttar Pradesh.

However, Aam Aadmi Party has also approached Satyapal. When asked about his political entry, Satyapal did not give any clarity on which party he is going to join. Instead Satyapal asked the media persons to wait for three more days and said that he would reveal all the details of his politics debut soon.
