Looks like Muzaffarnagar riots are still haunting the Samajwadi Party and its leaders. On Saturday, SP leader Atique Ahmed has said that those living in the relief camps at Muzaffarnagar were "professional beggars".
Speaking to the reporters, Atique Ahmed said, “The refugees were given Rs 15 lakh each as compensation. and jobs too. Despite this, there were some who were seen in the camps. They seems like professional beggars.”
The Samajwadi Party is still being criticized for its inappropriate investigation into the riots and the way the relief camps were organized. In addition to this, SP government's Saifai Mahotsav came in a time when over 40 children died at the relief camps out of cold.
This riots matter seems like a never ending issue, we have to see how CM Akhilesh Yadav will respond to this.
