Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has again made it to the headlines by ordering the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to file FIR against Reliance Industries boss Mukesh Ambani of conspiring with Union Oil Minister Veerappa Moily to inflate the prices of gas. CM Kejriwal said there are four complaints against Reliance Industries for creating an artificial shortage of gas and various reasons. With the government increasing the gas price, common people will suffer and RIL will get a benefit of Rupees 54,000 crore per annum.
Kejriwal is likely to write to Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh seeking to take the hike of price and also the gas wells from the Reliance Industries. The cases will be filed under various provision of Prevention of Corruption Act.
