HD Deve Gowda, the national president of JD[S] party has warned his partymen and MLAs to stay away from Congress party or else asked them to leave his party. “We will not tie down those MLAs and others if they wish to leave the cash-starved JD[S] and join the Congress or BJP. They should take a quick decision without creating any more confusion,” said the former Prime Minister  on Sunday press conference.

Gowda accepted that his party is running lack of funds. He said those who have faith in the party’s ideals and principles can join him in strengthening the organisation and added JD[S] is the result of the sweat and hard work of lakhs of party workers and it has to be carried forward.

JD[S] is most likely to go to elections alone and with Gowda’s statements, a strong message has been sent to his party workers. We have to see how JD]S] comes out of financial crisis.
