People for Ethical Treatment for Animals (PETA) have conducted an online survey for the hottest Indian Veggie, and the maximum vote garners were `Why This Kolaveri Di’ fame, Tamil Superstar Dhanush and B-Wood sensuous hottie Mallika Sherawat. The two were overwhelmed over the voting and thanked the netizens for making the winning memorable. Because this particular award indirectly states their popularity, acknowledgement for their regular habit and further shows them being hot enough to compete ahead of likes like Vivek Oberoi, Vidya Balan, Sonu Sood, Shahid Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Kareena Kapoor, to emerge as winners.
The PETA list which was released on Friday by the association’s Indian Chief Functionary Poorva Joshipura was welcomed by both the winners.
"If I had to pick the very best thing about being vegan, it's my clear conscience," Sherawat said in a statement.
"Being a vegetarian always made me feel healthy. I've always felt light. Every time I sit down to eat, I'm helping the environment. I'm proud to be a vegetarian. Go PETA, go green," said the Kolaveri fame Dhanush.
