Manchu Lakshmi who is the daughter of famous Actor in Tollywood he is none other than Mohan Babu.As she is very much fond of Mani Ratnam films, In one of his films she likes the most applaud classics which is Geetanjali.So now the latest news is that Manchu girl is also one of the part in Mani Ratnam's forthcoming film Kadal, In this film she has been roped for a negative role, As Manchu Lakshmi says that she was very much excited with the call from Director Mani Ratnam's office.

As Manchu Lakshmi discloses "Well Iam the great fan of Mani Ratnam and his films.And for so many times i watched Geetanjali as a child and i fell in love with Nagarjuna.As i could not even imagined that i will get a chance like this acting under the direction of Mani Ratnam, So when he offered me the role to play in his film, I was excited and anxious at once.Still he made me so convenient and he explained role in great detail"

Is she facing any problem speaking in Tamil?  "I was born and went to school in Chennai.  I studied there till X Class.  Our association with Rajikanth uncle's family is well-known.  Aishwarya, Soundarya (Rajini's daughters) and I used to play together as children.  Even after moving to Hyderabad, we met regularly", Lakshmi tells.

At present Manchu Lakshmi is producing one movie which is named as Gundello Godari.And for this film the music director is maestro Illayaraja.  (TS)
