The Doel kid who just recently got married received a pleasant surprise from the UPA Chairperson Ms Sonia Gandhi. The dream girl of yesteryears Hema Malini was in for a surprise as her daughter Esha Doel and her hubby Bharat Takhtani received a warm invitation from Ms Sonia for a dinner while they were in Delhi.

The starlet who is a BJP MP had formally sent invitation for the wedding at Chennai to the Prime Minsiter and the UPA Chief. But neither could attend due to security reasons. Hence Ms Sonia seems to have invited the couple for a dinner while at Delhi. The family were delighted with the touching gesture of the Congress president.
