Akkinenis ecstatic over Manchu family's creativity

A memorable birthday gift is remembered for a long time. But a mind blowing birthday gift on someone's 90th birthday will be remembered for generations. That's what happened to the Akkineni family today, when the Manchu family gifted ANR with a large portrait having special features.

Mohan Babu, who is a good friend to the Akkinenis, felicitated the senior actor in the best way possible. The Manchu family displayed their admiration to Nageswara Rao by getting a huge poster made from paper cutouts of ANR's films. The clippings are arranged in a fashion that gives the image of Lord Vishnu. A gift like this is treasured because of the personal touch. Apparently, the creation was possible because of the skills of Ramesh Gurajala in Kalahasti and measures 18 ft wide and 4 ft long.

Manchu Vishnu was present at the meeting along with his father and expressed that ANR is an inspirational person. Akkineni Sumanth was also seen at the felicitation. Sumanth's film Emo Gurram Egaravacchu is once again back in action, putting a smile on the actor's face. Vishnu's Doosukeltha is, sadly, stuck in a minor trouble with the censors.

ANR's son and present co-star Nagarjuna was not seen at the meeting. The star is apparently irked over the supposed leak of Bhai's story by distributors. Meanwhile, the first look of Manam released few days ago was a major hit with Telugu viewers. With ANR giving a surprising performance, the film is picking up good talk. Until shooting completes, his birthday gift from the Manchu family will take the spotlight.
