Jiah Khan's mother Rabia Khan criticized the police that they have ignored a crucial forensic report received on August 16 that finds human flesh under the nails of the victim and blood stains on her underwear which clearly shows a struggle before her death.
Rabia Khan all along was against the theory of suicide since the day Jiah was found dead in her Juhu apartment on June3. She filed for reopening of the investigation with the Additional Commissioner of Police (West). Rabia's lawyer Dinesh Tiwari demands that the body of Jiah be exhumed to re-investigate. If police do not do it, Tiwari says, the court will be moved to get it done.
Rabia Khan attached the independent report obtained from the Head of Department of Forensic Medicine and Technology in AIIMS to her application for reopening of the case and to identify the culprit with the help of substance found checked from DNA tests. Dr.R.K.Sharma of Forensic Lab expressed shock how an important piece of information was ignored and it was destroyed by the investigating personnel.
Another important finding is 300 ml of alcohol found in her stomach by the forensic lab. After a consumption of such a quantity of alcohol the doctors opine that it is not possible to her to hang herself.
