A lot is happening in the Bharatiya Janata Party since yesterday as the senior most leader LK Advani is upset for picking him up again for the Gandhinagar constituency for the upcoming general elections. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj and many more leaders tried to convince Advani but still is not happy.

But why Mr. Advani is not willing to contest from Gandhinagar constituency which he has represented five times ? Why Advani is looking at Bhopal ? Why BJP is reluctant to hear Advani's plea ? Well here is a small scoop.

The first and foremost thing is Advani never liked Narendra Modi and he openly objected Modi for the PM post. Later in many events, Advani ignored Modi and even when Modi took his blessing, Advani did not respond accordingly. Over the past several months, Advani is staying away from BJP leadership   and was also doubtful to contest for the elections. However, with his supporters forcing him, Advani had to bow down before his party men. On the other hand, Modi supporters have been keeping calm on Advani's protests and are rumored to be waiting for the right time to take on him. Modi supporters have been vocal on him and said Advani has done nothing to the Gujarat capital despite representing five times. Advani feared some kind of disruption if contested for the sixth time in a row.

So Advani preferred to move away from Gujarat and has been asking BJP leadership to consider his name for the Bhopal constituency. Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also welcomed Advani to his place and and the sitting member Kailash Joshi was ready to move from here for sake of Advani. BJP leadership disregarded Shivraj Chouhan's request and asked him to maintain calm. Advani had praised Chouhan more than Modi during the elections and is heard to be alternative to Modi. So to clear way for Modi, BJP leadership made all the efforts to settle the unhappy leaders.

Not only Advani, Chouhan even Sushma Swaraj had to face the music of Modi wave. With clear Modi's influence in party,  BJP kept denying all the claims in the party and is working for the only aim to get back in power.

Lastly hope Advani wins with a huge majority from wherever he contests.
