Visalandhra Mahasabha will organize a workshop in Hyderabad on Oct 22 and 23 to highlight the need to keep the state of AP united. Former PRP leader and representative of Visalandhra Mahasabha Mr Parakala Prabhakar announced this at a press conference today.
Prabhakar said the workshop will nail the lies and the misconceived propaganda that Telangana people were subjected to injustice over the years. “That injustice has been done is a misconception and the workshop, to be held at the Jubilee Hall, will expose the lies and the bad propaganda,” he said.
The Telangana agitation has been encouraging violence, attacks on people and destructive methods among the people of the region, Prabhakar charged.
T journalists object to the meeting
Earlier, Telangana journalists, who attended the press meet, obstructed the proceedings demanding an apology from Prabhakar for his reported adverse remarks against them in his last meeting.
The journalists also demanded him to send out Mr Kumar Choudary who they alleged made abusive remarks against them in the last press meet. They also threatened to boycott the meeting if Mr Choudary was not sent out.
Following the tiff, Mr Choudary himself left the venue to allow the proceedings to begin.
