Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar today issued disqualification notices to two PRP MLAs, Sobha Nagireddy and Katasani Rami Reddy for violating party instructions and participating in the programmes of the YSR Congress led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Manohar issued them these notices based on a complaint by the PRP leadership. PRP leader and party whip in the assembly Vanga Geetha met the Deputy Speaker and lodged complaint against them two days ago.
Manohar asked them to reply to his notices with in a week. The Deputy Speaker has already issued notices to four congress MLAs including Konda Surekha for violating party discipline and supporting the YSR congress.
Surekha even challenged the notices in the High Court but the Court dismissed her petition saying that the Deputy Speaker is well within in his rights to take up action against her.
