Even as the PRP leadership has announced that it has been contemplating action against party MLAs who have defied party instructions and worked against the party interests,its fire brand Mahila wing leader Sobha Rani today threatened to block the merger meeting of the party with Congress which will be held shortly.

In a letter addressed to PRP chief Chiranjeevi, she said his decision to merge the party with congress was not a proper one as he had not consulted her before the merger.

She warned the leadership that she and some other leaders would block the proposed meeting. “We will surely block the merger meeting even if it is attended by congress party president Sonia Gandhi,” she said in her letter.
