Viveka sees YSR as part of congress

viveka-imageAgricultural minister and congress candidate in the by-election for the Pulivendula assembly constituency, Mr YS Vivekananda reddy said today that the late YSR is part of congress. “Both congress and YSR are one and the same and they are inseparable,” he declared at an election meeting at Pulivendula.

“It is very difficult to see YSR as a separate entity from congress,” Viveka said launching his campaign.

Viveka has already submitted his resignation as minister and asked chief minister Kirankumar reddy to accept it. “I can spare more time for campaigning as an ordinary congress activist,” he said.

Viveka’s main rival in Pulivendula is YS Vijayamma, widow of the late YSR, who is contesting on YSR congress ticket. TDP candidate BTech Ravi is hoping of a victory due to the spilt of votes between congress and YSR congress.

Viveka said people should elect him from Pulivendula to ensure the continuity of developmental works in the assembly and also for further progress of the constituency.
