PRP founder and mega star Chiranjeevi who announced the merger of his party with congress on Sunday in Delhi said today he has decided to change and merge his party with congress for achieving a bigger change in the state.

“I have decided to change to bring about a bigger change in the state,” declared Chiranjeevi assertively soon after his arrival from Delhi at the Shamshabad airport. Addressing his fans and congress and PRP workers who received him at the airport, Chiranjeevi said that the merger decision has followed his decision to bring about justice to all sections of people in the state.

“I would be the first to raise the problems or issues of people in the assembly or to bring them to the notice of the government,” he said and promised to work for the welfare of the people while continuing in the congress party.

He said that congress president Sonia Gandhi has requested him to strengthen the party in the state and promised to support every effort in finding solutions to the problems of the people. “Just because I have merged my party with congress, I am not keeping off people,” Chiranjeevi said and added that he decided on the merger with a view to bring about justice to all sections of the downtrodden.
