
Congress Party Leader, Dr.K.Keshava Rao today admitted the guilt that it was his party leaders who should take the blame for the delay in getting separate Telangana state. Speaking on the eve of Telangana Solidarity Convention held at Madina Centre under the ageics of Telangana Coordination Committee, the former PCC chief surprised everybody in the meeting with his remarks uttering that though the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh desired to meet the Congress Party MPs in an united fashion, the MPs took up the campaign in their own ways.
He chose to remind the party leaders that it was at his insistence the motion for Telangana state was moved in both the CLP and the Congress Working Committee (CWC). Further, KK said that he never backtracked on his demand for a separate state despite stiff resistance from the late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy.

Last month, the Senior Congress Party leader along with fellow party members sat on a one-day fasting in the city demanding the state government to take back cases against the JAC leaders.
