Telangana political JAC chairman Professor Kodanda ram today threatened to block the movement of Telangana congress MLAs in order to force them to act in the assembly the way their MPs did in the Lok Sabha.
Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, Kodanda ram said that the congress MLAs should follow the footsteps of their MPs and bring the assembly to a standstill in order to put pressure on the centre and the state for declaring the Telangana state.
Declaring that the non-cooperation movement of the people and the employees will continue till Telangana is achieved, the JAC chairman made it clear that the people of Telangana would feel happy only with the formation of Telangana state. “Any thing short of Telangana state is not acceptable to the people,” he declared.
He said that the JAC will conduct rallies at all district, division and Mandal levels across Telangana tomorrow and day after and will resort to the burning of effigies of congress ministers and MLAs on February 28. “The stance of the congress ministers and MLAs has become an obstruction in getting Telangana,” he said.
