The statue of Potti Sriramulu at Vanasthalipuram cross roads in Hyderabad was demolished by some miscreants Tuesday night. Chandrasekhara rao.

Local people, who found the statue demolished this morning, lodged a complaint with the police. The miscreants demanded Venugopal reddy to withdraw his remarks against their leader KCR.

Serving a warning that criticism against KCR will no longer be tolerated, the miscreants said in the letter that the statue of Potti Sriramulu must be replaced with that of a Arya Vysya leader of the Telangana region.

It may be mentioned that KCR said he would stage a demonstration at the Speaker podium in Lok Sabha and stall the proceedings of the house till the Telangana Bill is introduced in the parliament. Responding to the statement, Venugopal reddy warned that such acts would not be tolerated and KCR would be dragged out of the House.
