Former AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today called on the super star Rajanikanth who was being treated in the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Porur in Chennai and wished him speedy recovery.
Rajani was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on Saturday after he complained of uneasiness. Doctors, after conducting tests, determined he was suffering from pneumonia, renal and gastro-intestinal problems.
After coming out of the hospital, Naidu and Modi told waiting reporters that he was doing fine and recovering fast. “He is likely to be discharged in four to five days,” they said.
Rajani was hospitalized for the third time in the last three weeks for respiratory problems and pneumonia.
They earlier attended the swearing in ceremony of chief minister Jayalalitha at the Madras University auditorium as special invitees. After attending the swearing-in, the two leaders straightaway drove to the hospital and enquired about his health.
