All of a sudden, the Telangana issue is hogging the limelight. While T congress MLAs, MPs, MLCs and others met the visiting Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today in Hyderabad and sought an immediate action from the Centre and the Congress leadership for forming the T state, TDP Telangana Forum, BJP, TRS and other pro-Telangana organizations had already announced their action plans for continuing the struggle for achieving T state.
Not lagging behind, the Telangana freedom fighters association too had announced its action programme for achieving Telangana.
Explaining about the programme at the Somajiguda Press Club in Hyderabad today, the association’s representative Mr Konda Lakshman Bapuji said that they would conduct a five-day bus Yatra from May 19 onwards for achieving Telangana state.
“The bus Yatra will start from Gun Park in Hyderabad on May 19 and passes through all 10 districts of Telangana,” Bapuji announced. “The freedom fighters will also take a vow on May 25 at the Charminar and conduct a March,” he announced.
