YSR congress chief YS Jaganmohan reddy is said to be making all out efforts to topple the Kirankumar reddy government by supporting the no confidence motion to be introduced by the TDP or opposing the confidence motion to be introduced by the chief minister himself with the support of the congress MLAs owing allegiance to him.
Sources said that Jagan has the backing of 34 congress MLAs and he needs the support of at least another six MLAs to prove that Kiran doesn’t enjoy the majority of the house.
Reports however said that only 22 pro-Jagan MLAs of different political parties had attended a meeting called by Jagan at his residence this evening to discuss the toppling operation.
Kunja Satyavathi, Nallapureddy Prasannakumar reddy, Ramakrishna Reddy, Sucharitha, Ramachandra reddy, Ravi, Adinarayana reddy, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Konda Surekha, Sesha reddy, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara reddy, Prasada Raju, Bala Raju, Korla Bharathy, Dharmana Krishna Das, Babu Rao, Srinivasulu, Sivaprasada Reddy, Srikantha Reddy, Jayasudha, Amarnath Reddy and Sobha Nagi reddy attended the evening meeting.
Hard core Jagan loyalists Balineni Srinivasa reddy and Pilli Subhas Chandra Bose did not attend the meeting due to some family preoccupations. Alla Nani and Jogi Ramesh are with Jagan though they too did not attend the meeting thanks to some important work. Jagan is also speaking to several other MLAs over phone and requesting them to help him topple the government.
The number of MLAs who were present when Jagan’s mother YS Vijayamma took oath in the afternoon was 13 and the number increased to 22 in the evening. Jagan is expecting some more MLAs to join him when the trust vote will be put to vote. Vijayamma also did not attend the evening meeting.
