We will go by T people’s aspirations: Naidu

We will go by T people’s aspirations: NaiduTDP president and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu asserted today that his party would go by the wishes and aspirations of the people on the issue of Telangana.

Dwelling at length on Telangana issue in his inaugural speech at the 30th Mahanadu, the annual conference of the party, Naidu said that the stance of the TDP on Telangana is very clear than that of any other party in the state.

“TDP has already acted in favour of Telangana even though the ruling party at the Centre and in the state did not reveal its stance till now,” said Naidu. “Decision should be taken by the Centre, not by the TDP. For this reason only we didn’t attend the all party meeting convened by the Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram in Delhi,” said Naidu, adding that TDP would always respect the wishes and aspirations of the people on the issue of Telangana.

Naidu said there is no wrong if his party fights for Telangana under its own banner like the other parties. “Why should we fight with out our flags and banners when you are doing so?” he thundered.

Lashing out at TRS, Naidu said that the KCR-led political outfit would one day merge with the congress like the PRP of the mega-star Chiranjeevi.

Disclosing that the Mahanadu will discuss both the issues of separate Telangana and United AP, Naidu said the party has decided not to hurt the feelings of people of any region since Telangana is very delicate issue.
