Stylish star Allu Arjun’s latest movie ‘Badrinath’ has reportedly run into legal problems and its release on the scheduled date of June 10 is doubtful.
Sources said that some persons filed a petition in the city civil court of Hyderabad against the producer Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts alleging that some of the scenes in the movie were copied straight from their movie. They requested the court to restrain the producers Geetha Arts from releasing the movie till the disposal of their case.
Sources also reveled that the petitioners demanded some Rs.1 Cr towards compensation for withdrawing the case. Worried at the development, Allu Aravind is trying to have a compromise with the petitioners so that he can go ahead with the release of his son’s movie as planned.
Negotiations with the petitioners are going on to clear the legal hurdle, said the sources close to the Allu family.
