Police serve notices to Sai trust members The Ananthapuram district police have served notices to Mr R.J. Ratnakar and Srinivasan, members of the Sri Satya Sai Central Trust asking them to come to police station and give their statements with regard to the Rs.35 lakh cash seized from the employees of the trust recently.
 
Police said they have served notices under sections 41 and 102 Cr PC and asked both of them to give their versions as the arrested employees revealed their names.
 
While Mr Ratnakar is the nephew of the late Sri Satya Sai Baba, Mr Srinivasan owns WS industries in Chennai. Both of them are facing allegations of misappropriating the funds of Baba.
 
The police are very curious to know how the amount of Rs.35 lakh came out when the trust members announced the details of the cash counted in the Yajurmandiram of the Baba and deposited the same in bank. The income tax department has also entered the picture now and is trying to find out the origin and destination of such huge cash.
