T men attack Shankar Rao at Hanumakonda

T men attack Shankar Rao at HanumakondaPro-Telangana activists today attacked Textiles Minister Shankar Rao with chappals, stones and mud balls at Hanumakonda and partially destroying some vehicles in his convoy.

The incident took place when the Minister was on his way back to Hyderabad after paying his last respects to Prof. Jayashankar who passed away Tuesday morning. Police tried to ensure that the minister’s trip to Hanumakonda would be incident-free but they failed in preventing the attack as the T elements made their plans in advance.

It may be recalled that the T elements had earlier attacked congress MP Mr Rajaiah on Tuesday who went to Warangal to pay his tributes to Jayashankar at the Ekasila Park.
