Kishore, Kavuri, Chiru may find way to Union Cabinet

Kishore Kavuri, Chiru may find way to Union Cabinet The Union Cabinet is likely to be expanded on July 2 amid expectations that senior MPs from Andhra Pradesh Mr Kishore Chandra Dev and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, apart from the PRP founder-turned-congress leader Mr Chiranjeevi, may be inducted into the council of ministers with important portfolios.

Reports said that Chiranjeevi will be made a Rajya Sabha member from Maharashtra after being inducted into the Union Cabinet. A section of the media reported recently that the mega star had refused to go to Rajya Sabha from Maharashtra and proposed to wait to get elected to the Upper House from AP.

There is however neither official confirmation nor denial by Chiranjeevi on this count and the mega star seems to be keeping the cards close to his chest on his possible election to the Rajya Sabha.

Political circles are also agog with rumours that Union Textiles Minister Dayanidhi Maran may be shown the door as he was reportedly involved in the 2G scam during his tenure as the Communications Minister.
