Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy reviewed the rehabilitation measures being undertaken for the evacuees under various irrigation projects in the state on Wednesday with out the presence of the major Irrigation Minister B. Sudarshan Reddy.
Sources said that the minister avoided the meeting as he was unhappy with the CM not releasing funds for his department. Senior officials of the major irrigation ministry appraised the CM on the status of the rehabilitation measures and relief packages being implemented.
CMO officials said that the Minister could not attend the review meeting as he was busy with some official programmes in Nizamabad district but sources said the minister is not happy as the CM did not release any funds for his department’s various projects and rehabilitation programmes.
“Sudarshan reddy is very much disenchanted with the paucity of funds in his department and it is the only reason for his absence at the meeting,” said a source.
