TRS chief Mr K. Chandrasekhara rao today faced rough weather during his tour of the Adilabad district as the activists of the Telangana TDP Forum tried to block his visit by raising slogans and resorting to demonstrations against him.

Blocking his convoy, TDP activists organized rasta rokos and demonstrations in Manchiryal and Nirmal towns and demanded his resignation first before asking other party leaders to quit for the sake of Telangana.

“KCR is cheating the Telangana people. He should first resign before asking others to quit for the sake of Telangana,” they demanded.

KCR later spit fire on the TDP leaders for trying to block his tour in the district and called the TDP people’s representatives useless fellows. “There is no movement of any sort in the TDP leaders even after the entire Telangana is on fire striking work which goes into the history with golden letters,” KCR told journalists in Adilabad.

He said that the mass general strike would continue till Telangana state is achieved. “Even Muslims of Telangana are also seeking the separate state.”
