Further flaring up the T sentiments and emotions cemented by the en masse resignations of the region’s congress and TDP MLAs in support of the demand for division of the state, the Telangana political JAC today called for a 2-day Telangana bandh from Tuesday.
Asking its cadres to make the bandh fully successful, JAC chief Prof. Kodanda Ram disclosed in a media conference that students will conduct rallies on July 6 and 7 in villages, towns and district headquarters and on July 8 and 9, the JAC will organize rail roko agitation across the region.
“On July 10, there will be a Vanta-Vaarpu programme in all districts of Telangana,” he declared.
The JAC of the Telangana Employees’ associations has announced full support to the bandh call saying all employees in the region would participate in the bandh to make it successful. Speaking at a meeting of the associations, the JAC leader Swami Goud and TRS president KCR demanded the Centre to introduce the Telangana Bill in the next session of parliament.
KCR warns of violence
Earlier, TRS chief KCR warned the centre and the state government that the region would turn into a fire ball from tomorrow if the Telangana is not declared following the resignations of the MLAs.
Speaking at the 2-day fasting camp of the suspended TDP member Nagam Janardhan reddy, KCR said he would try to bring the leadership of the T agitation under one umbrella.
