Sai trust submits report to Govt

baba1Responding to the Government’s notice, the Satya Sai Central Trust today submitted a report on its activities to Mr. Ramana chary, principal secretary of the Endowments department in the state secretariat.

The deadline given to the trust ended on Sunday and the day being a holiday, the report was submitted to the government today.

The government served a notice on the trust asking it to submit a full-fledged report on its activities giving the details of trust members, their professions, income sources, donors’ names, properties, bank deposits, bank balances, auditors’ details and other activities of the trust.

The government sought the report in the wake of seizure of cash to the tune of Rs.35 lakhs from the vehicles of the trust members Srinivasan a few days ago and amid allegations that the members have been resorting to malpractices and funds misuse.

Members Srinivasan and RJ Ratnakar were also interrogated by the police in connection with the seizure of the cash which reportedly belonged to the Yajurmandiram of Sri Satya Sai Baba.
