The Telangana congress leaders today warned the congress leadership and the Centre that their agitation would be intensified if no decision on Telangana is announced before this month end.
Speaking to media persons at their 2-day fasting venue at Indira Park in Hyderabad, MLA Damodar Reddy said 20 lakh people would lay siege to the Hyderabad city to bring the normal activity to a stand still. “We will soon organize this,” said the MLA demanding the Congress high command not to test the patience of Telangana people.
Damodar also asked the high command to remove Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Union Cabinet for his anti-Telangana statement in China. “Mr Azad has lost eligibility to continue in the Central cabinet because of his anti-Telangana remarks,” he said.
“We are ready even for sacrificing our lives for the sake of Telangana and the agitation will continue till the separate state is achieved,” others at the fasting camp said assertively.
