Thousands of devotees of the spiritual guru Sri Satya Sai Baba started queuing up since this morning today to have a glimpse of his Maha Samadhi in the Prashanthy Nilayam of Puttaparthy on the occasion of Guru Purnima, a cobra made several rounds near the Samadhi and around it.
Devotees, most of them being foreigners who arrived one day in advance of the sacred Guru Purnima day to Puttaparthy to have the darshan of the Maha Samadhi, saw their spiritual master in the cobra.
Baba used to give darshan to devotees on Guru Purnima day every year and most of the devotees thought that the Baba appeared in shape of snake on this day. The construction of the Maha Samadhi of the Baba, who passed away on April 24, began immediately after his demise and was completed before the Guru Purnima day.
Three months ago, a cobra appeared in the house of Dr Safaya who treated the Baba after his hospitalization. Again, it appeared today in the Prashanthy Nilayam.
