Some of the congress leaders belonging to Telangana and Seema Andhra areas today met in Delhi and discussed the Telangana issue.
MLAs JC Diwakar Reddy and Gade Venkata reddy of the Seema Andhra area and MLCs Yadava Reddy, Amos and Indrasena reddy of the Telangana region met and discussed the issue for a while. “Majority leaders of both sides should sit and talk like this to find a solution to the nagging issue,” they said after their meeting.
Meanwhile, Telangana congress steering committee members led by Minister Jana reddy, MPs Keshava rao, Ponnam Prabhakar and Madhu Yaskhi Goud also left for New Delhi this morning to meet the central leaders of the party and discuss the issue. They may also meet the Seema Congress leaders.
“We will come back to Hyderabad either with Telangana or with our resignations getting accepted as there is no question of having a compromise on achieving separate state of Telangana,” they said.
