Well known Telugu writer and poet Mr. Vegunta Mohan Prasad, popularly known as Mo, has been admitted to a private nursing home in Vijayawada after he suffered brain hemorrhage today.

“He is put on a ventilator and the condition is critical,” said family members.

Mr Mo, who has got an irrevocable command over English and Telugu languages, was also linked to Greek language. His poems are published in a series of collections known as Punarapi, Rahasyatantri, Nishadam, Chitichinta and Sandhya Bhasha.

Mo has also published a collection of essays in the name of ‘Karachalanam’ in which he had introduced several internationally known writers to the Telugu readers.

Very recently, he won the Tanikella Bharani literary award introduced in 2011.
