T cong leaders stand by resignations

telanganaT congress leaders, who had resigned demanding the creation of Telangana state, said today they were committed to their resignations.

Speaking to media persons after a meeting at the residence of the Telangana constituencies asserted there was no going back on the resignations.

They said they would pay homage to the Telangana martyrs in all Telangana constituencies on August 9 and resort to hunger strike on August 11 in Hyderabad protesting the delay in the removal of the clause 14 F.

“And on August 15, we will hoist the Telangana flag along with that of the national flag in Hyderabad and in other constituencies,” they said.

Reacting to the appeal of the former chief minister K. Rosaiah that the T agitation should be suspended in view of the surgery performed on the party president Sonia Gandhi, the T congress leaders said they were not in a position to take lessons from Rosaiah.
