Devotes of Lord Venkateswara had a horrifying experience in Tirumala today when they found a dangerous python moving in their midst behind the temple.
On seeing the 13-ft long python near the RB Centre, the devotees ran helter-skelter in fear leading to a commotion. On learning about the incident, senior officials called the snake-charmers and requested the devotees to keep off the place where the reptile was found.
After a half an hour effort, the snake charmers found the dangerous snake and caught it. They later left it in the nearby forest giving relief to the hundreds of devotees moving there. With the incident, the TTD officials have alerted the devotees and asked them to be watchful of their moments in the temple premises.
