Actress Sriya, who is now doing item numbers in most of the movies due to lack of heroine roles, has stooped further and has agreed to do a nude role.
Reports said that Sriya has been trying her best for recapturing her old glory through some leading lady roles but all those efforts came to naught as no one was ready to offer her heroine roles. At a time when she was fed up and had decided to plan her retirement from movies, she suddenly got an offer to act in a Bengali film.
Veteran Bengali director Ritu Parnaghosh asked her to act in his movie which would be based on a story of a prostitute. He also told him she would need to act in nude scenes as part of the character. According to sources, Sriya agreed to do that role.
It might be noted that Sriya once acted opposite top heroes like Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh but there are no takers for her now.
