The AP High Court today dismissed the bail petitions of B. Ramalinga Raju, former Chairman of the Satyam Computers and seven others in the Rs.14000 Cr accounting fraud case of the company.
With the CBI special court rejecting their bail applications, main accused Ramalinga Raju and the seven co accused approached the High Court for bail. This is second time that Ramalinga Raju and others were rejected bail by both the special CBI court and the High Court after July 31, 2011.
The accused are going from pillar to post for bail as the Supreme Court in the past rejected their bail petitions and asked them to move the CBI court for bail after July 31 if their trial was not completed by then.
