TTD Executive officer Mr LV Subramanyam disclosed today that the new Trust Board of the temple will take oath on September 2 and start working from the next day.

Speaking to media persons in Tirumala this afternoon, Mr Subramanyam said the new Trust Board members will take oath in an auspicious time in the evening on September 2. It might be mentioned that Congress MP Mr Kanumuri Bapiraju has been appointed as the new chairman of the Trust Board replacing the Specified Authority whose term has expired last Wednesday.

Referring to the controversy over the seven hills of the Lord Balaji, the EO said that no one should entertain any doubts over the ownership of the seven hills and the forests therein. “TTD will continue to have the ownership of the seven hills and the forest wealth as in the past and there is no change in the ownership,” he said.
