Jagan accuses CBI of conspiracy

JaganAccusing the CBI of conspiracy, YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy said today he had prepared a note on the investigating agency and the note would be handed over to all opposition parties.

Speaking to media persons in Delhi, Jagan said he would meet all opposition party leaders and the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to tell them about the injustice done to him by the congress party.

Jagan accused the congress of using the CBI for its political ends and defaming his late father YSR. Denying that he has been hobnobbing with the BJP, Jagan said his father had opposed the BJP in his 30-year political life but the congress leadership has been trying to defame him.

“I have nothing to do with the BJP but the party leaders have questioned the government on the injustice done to me and I express my gratitude to their leaders for that,” said Jagan.

Loses cool

When journalists gathered at Jagan’s residence early morning and tried to seek his response on the arrest of the Karnataka mining baron and former Minister Mr Gali Janardhan reddy, he lost his cool and shouted at media persons.

“I have nothing to do with Janardhan Reddy but you are asking me to react on his arrest. Why? You should have gone to Karnataka or BJP leaders for reaction,” he asked angrily.

When a journalist pointed out that he was reportedly close to the arrested mining baron, Jagan said that was not correct. “You are not showing minimum ethics,” he shouted at journalists who insisted on his reaction.
