Union Minister and in-charge of the congress affairs in AP Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad today invited the congress leaders of the Seema Andhra area for talks on Telangana on September 12.

This will be the second round of talks Azad would be holding with them on the daunting issue of Telangana. The first round of talks between Azad and Seema Andhra leaders were held in Delhi in the first week of August where in the former elicited the opinions of the latter on Telangana.

Before initiating the talks with them, Azad also held consultations with the congress leaders of the Telangana region.

Meanwhile, Minister Sailaja Nath who led the delegation of SA leaders in the first round of talks with Azad, is also leading the delegation for the second installment of talks. “Last time, we attended the talks with 30 members. In the second round also, the same delegation will participate and we will present our arguments for keeping the state united in a much stronger way,” said Mr Sailajanath.
