Amid speculation that he may be arrested at any moment, Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy, vice chairman of the Jagathi Publications, attended CBI questioning for the seventh consecutive day today in the case related to the alleged illegal accumulation of wealth by the YSR congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy.
He answered various questions put to him by the CBI teams on the investments made into Jagan companies by different individuals and fictitious companies.
Simultaneously, the representatives of the Bharathi Cements, also owned by Jagan, attended the CBI questioning session for the fifth day today in succession.
Mr Vijaya Sai Reddy, a well known auditor, played a key role in the manipulation and transfer of investments pumped into Jagan companies by persons who benefited from the government during the YSR regime.
He was a loyalist of the YSR family even from the days of YS Raja reddy, grandfather of Jagan. It was revealed that all the financial transactions of the late YSR were confidently handled by him and after the death of YSR, Jagan chose him as his financial adviser.
