What is common among the former Satyam Computers chairman Mr. B. Ramalinga Raju, mining Czar Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and the tainted Kadapa MP Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the trinity of fraud and corruption in AP?
The first two are in jail and the last one too may go to jail any moment now for his mega financial misdeeds.
There are two clear similarities among the three. The first one is they are not showing any signs of repentance for their scandalous nature. B. Ramalinga Raju who was responsible for the Rs.14, 000 Cr accounting fraud in the once fifth largest IT company of the world and the mining czar Mr. Gali Janardhan reddy who made a fortune of more than Rs. 20, 000 Cr through his illegal mining kingdom never showed any sings of regrets for what they have done.
There was neither repentance nor introspection on their part for cheating people and the government of this country for their selfish ends and robbing the state exchequer of thousands of crores of rupees through manipulation of government GOs and accounts and bribing the politicians and officials.
Both Raju and Janardhan reddy are desperately trying for bail now as they want to enjoy liberally the fortunes they had earned through their sins and illegalities, which is the second similarity.

These two similarities can be found in YSR Congress chief Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy too, who is facing the threat of an imminent arrest for illegally amassing a fortune worth more than Rs. 50, 000 Cr misusing his father’s position.
He has been moving heaven and earth to see that he would not be arrested by the CBI under any circumstances. He has stooped to such lowest levels that he announced publicly he would not mind to extend support to the UPA Government at the Centre in the next elections while he openly blamed the Congress for the CBI investigation against him.
The only aim behind such an announcement is to evade his possible arrest and move freely to enjoy his riches that would probably put him on a political pedestal in the corruption-ridden society in course of time.
His moves and machinations show he is desperate to have a compromise with the powers-that-be at the centre to save his fortunes and self. This is very clear when he approached the Supreme Court for the third time seeking to stop the CBI investigation into his illegal wealth.
We have seen Ramalinga Raju going from pillar to post seeking bail and despite being rejected bail twice by the High Court and once by the Supreme Court, he had approached the apex court again for bail. Notwithstanding the fact that Jagan has not yet been arrested, he has approached the apex court third time seeking to stop the CBI probe.
Like the other two, Jagan also has no repentance nor has he gone for an introspection of his misdeeds.
In the coming days, we will also see Gali Janardhan reddy too knocking on the doors of the apex court for bail using his battery of lawyers and using his money power. These three must be put behind bars for life and their properties confiscated but this punishment also would not suit the crimes they had committed.
