The CBI today conducted raids on the offices and other premises of Navayuga Group in Hyderabad in connection with the cases registered against mining mafia don, Mr Gali Janardhan reddy in illegal mining case and YSR Congress chief, Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy in illegal assets case.

The bosses of Navayuga Group were shocked to find CBI teams at its offices in Somajiguda and the move of the CBI caught them unawares.

Navayuga Group is the BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) operator for the Krishnapatnam port through which Gali owned-Obalupuram mining company had exported lakhs of tonnes of iron ore.

Sources said the searching teams had seized several files and documents connected with the exports of iron ore from the Navayouga Group offices. On the other hand, CBI continued with its interrogation of Gali Janardhan reddy and his cousin Mr Srinivasa reddy.
