The CBI court at Nampally in Hyderabad today adjourned to September 29 the hearing on the bail petitions of the illegal mining czar, Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brother in law Mr Srinivasa reddy.
Both of them are now cooling their heels in the Chanchalguda jail after the court extended their judicial custody till October 2. It is third time that their bail pleas were adjourned.
With the Telangana lawyers boycotting their duties at the Nampally courts complex as part of the all people’s strike aimed at achieving Telangana state, the lawyers of the arrested duo didn’t turn up for their defense today leading to the adjournment.
CBI lawyers have already submitted their counter to the court objecting bail to them. Till Gali’s lawyers attend the court, the bail pleas continue to be adjourned.
