With CBI director, Mr Balwinder Singh personally reviewing the progress of investigation into the illegal mining activity undertaken by the Gali brothers, APIIC-Emaar land scam and the illegal properties of the YSR congress chief, Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy, the agency’s Joint Director Mr VV Lakshminarayana today ordered his officers to speed up the probe into the three cases.
Balwinder Singh arrived in Hyderabad Thursday morning and got busy himself reviewing the cases with senior officers in the Dilkusha guest house whole day yesterday.
Lakshminarayana met his boss early in the morning and held consultations on the cases. It is said that Mr Singh gave some important suggestions to Lakshminarayana on investigation and the steps to be taken next with regard to the cases.
Action plan for arrest of the accused
Balwinder Singh has reportedly given an action plan to arrest the accused in the three important cases, according to sources.
Meanwhile, Mr. Vijayasai reddy, vice chairman of the Jagathi Publications, also attended the CBI questioning session today at the guest house along with the SBI officers who sanctioned loans to villa purchasers in the Emaar estates.
